Welcome to Church of the Apostles
Evergreen, Colorado
We enjoy an ancient-future perspective: treasuring the historic,
Christian faith of the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church with a
living, vibrant and joyful expression of our love for Jesus Christ in
word and sacrament, prayer and song. We are Bible-believing, born again,
filled with the Holy Spirit, liturgical Christians celebrating in the
richness and orthodoxy of the Anglican tradition!
We hold Holy Scripture to be authoritative in matters of faith and morals,
even as we seek to serve those who are hurting in body, mind or spirit. Our
goal is to speak the truth in love, not compromising our biblical values,
but reaching out with compassion and offering real hope to those suffering
people whom God holds precious and of infinite value.
Following our Lord’s commandment and commission, we try to daily love the
Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, love our neighbors
as ourselves, and spread the Good News to all we meet, making disciples,
baptizing and instructing them that Jesus, the Risen Christ, is the way, the
truth and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through him.
We profess our faith through the ancient creeds of the church, proclaim the
good news of the forgiveness of sins, the gift of the Holy Spirit and the
promise of eternal life. We celebrate Holy Communion weekly with the Book of
Common Prayer (1979). We are affiliated with the Anglican
Mission in America
and the Anglican Church in North America.
Church of the Apostles is “a place to pray, a place to heal, a place to
grow.” There is a place here for you.
